Turlock Livestock Auction Yard, Inc. began with the dream and desire of Bud and Karen Cozzi to build a strong marketplace for dairymen and ranchers to market their livestock. The original rented facility was located on East Ave. In Turlock, California their business began to flourish, making the need for a larger facility a necessity. Together they purchased the current Turlock Livestock Auction Yard property located on Lander Ave., and built a state of the art auction facility. With the tragic loss of Bud Cozzi and the desire of Karen and her family to carry on the well established business for not only her family but also for the customers who came to trust them, they continued to keep the dream alive.
Karen and her children, Bud, Chuck, and Robin, have successfully carried on the family tradition. The Cozzitorto families desire to stay in the forefront in the livestock marketing industry has lead the recent merger with Max Olvera, Andy Peek, and Steve Faria.
Today, Turlock Livestock Auction Yard, Inc. still prides itself in carrying on the personal service of which its foundation was built upon.
